IT Systems Administrator

Commerce-Connections Ltd. is a software and services company based in Woking Surrey, focusing on EDI/B2B/EAI solutions and custom development offerings around IBM Lotus Domino.

We are currently looking to hire an experienced IT professional to become our company Systems Administrator.

The company will define the overall IT strategy for the business. Working closely with management, you are responsible for its implementation as well as contributing to the ongoing strategy.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Implementation of agreed internal/external hardware & software infrastructure as agreed by the business.
- Provision of internal/external IT help desk support & issue resolution within agreed SLAs
- Contribute to the development of on-going process, best practice & services offerings, and general internal/external IT strategy

Your core technical skills should include the following:

- Working knowledge of Linux, Unix and Windows Server.
- At least 2 years supporting multiple Servers with ability to manage, configure services such as DNS, DHCP, SMTP, FTP, Apache
- Experience of most commonly used PC applications such as Lotus Notes, MS Office, Anti Virus
- Sound understanding MS Active Directory / workgroup environment
- Comprehensive understanding of Lotus Domino
- Working knowledge of Firewall technology, Site-to-Site VPN, remote users
- Strong underlying knowledge of TCP/IP and network technologies, associated security software & practices
- Trouble shooting & maintenance techniques
- Project planning

This role requires an in-depth knowledge of the core requirements stated above, coupled with the ability and experience to support Commerce-Connections IT environment ensuring that a successful IT solution is available.
