The CC DataSynch Service is a Managed Services from Commerce-Connections to manage and publish all item attributes required by a trading partner or data pool. The service supports any data model and set of attributes to make your data set compliant.

Data required to comply with your trading partners Data Synchronisation program may be stored in different system and not available from a single data source. Companies often struggle to gather and consolidate the information.

CC offers organisations the ability to upload data from ERP applications, accounting systems etc, into a special designed Data Synch staging database.

Our system can accept any format and frees an organisation to change their internal systems. Excessive validation routines ensure data quality compliance. Once the validation process has been completed the system can submit the final information either to your data pool of choice or direct to your trading partner using EDI or other formats.

Data Import

The CC DataSynch Service can accept data from a wide range of applications in many different formats such as CSV, EDI  or XML format as well as manual data entry.

Data Validation

The CC DataSynch Service includes functions such as to:

  • Check the presence and the quality of data according to a publication list
  • Alert and display errors through the validation process
  • Alert the key users in case of updates
  • Manage the referencing for each trading partner / LCP / Marketplace
  • Manage publication list according to the references
  • Detect data attributes’ modifications
  • Send automatically data updates

The service provides a feedback report for each GTIN individually or for the entire product set. Product data are only published to the “outside world” once the customer is sure that all product information is valid.
Business rules parameters allow to:

  • Validate that mandatory data attributes are part of the published data
  • Defined logical relationships between data entities

EAN-UCC Standards

The CC DataSynch Service is compliant with the EAN-UCC (GDS) standards. It complies with the GPC (Global Product Classification) recommendation.  The service is also able to manage the same GTIN’s for various markets.

Price Management

The CC DataSynch Service manages price lists / price brackets based on a supplied reference model.
